A little about me
I live in Palmer, AK but I was born and raised I n
Raleigh, NC. I moved here about 8 years ago
and after picking up skiing as a hobby and
adjusting to the winters, I can fully say I love
living here!
I have a degree in Small Business Management
and International Studies! So if you need me
to travel, I’m so down (hint, hint!)
Some of my favorite places I’ve traveled to are
the Oregon coast, Scotland, Morocco,
Savannah GA, and Canyonlands National Park.
I’ll stop there, but the list goes on!

So many things to say, but ultimately Julia was amazing!! She captured my wedding day exactly how I wanted and imagined. The photos exceeded our expectations in quantity, quality, and artistry. Each photo captured the special connection my husband and I have as well as the ones with family and guests. One of the things I loved about Julia was not only her style, but her expertise. She helped my husband and I when we were stumped on how to pose and made us look like naturals even though we totally were not. She was kind and so helpful! Julia photographed so many angles throughout the day seemingly effortlessly. Julia is a talented photographer, with a great eye for a good shot and sensitive to the happenings during the hectic day. She was always available to catch the special moments. She was patient as we scrambled to collect family members and remained calm and cool all day. Julia is worth every penny she charges and I will be happily recommending her to every one of my AK friends getting engaged, married, or just wanting a random, happy, special shoot. 10/10!

There are so many reasons why I would recommend Julia! She photographed our wedding and did the most amazing job! Not only did she run around in the pouring rain for hours, she did it with the sweetest most positive attitude! She captured every moment so perfectly. I was pretty overwhelmed on the day because of the pouring rain and the timeline, but she worked with us so well and her photos turned out so incredible! 10/10

My husband and I recently had our 5th wedding anniversary and I wanted to have some photos taken to celebrate the milestone. I am relatively knowledgeable about photography and am probably more picky than most, but when I came across Julia's work, I loved it and knew I wanted her to take our photos. Throughout the process, Julia was friendly, but professional, flexible, and highly responsive in terms of communication. The whole process was a breeze, from booking and paying for the shoot, to quickly getting the photos back and downloading them at home. I know we will always cherish these beautiful photos and I can't thank Julia enough for giving them to us!
